Featuring over 30 new plastic figures (including cacodemons, revenants, cherubs, commando zombies, maggots, and Vagary) and two entirely new modes of play, Doom: the Board Game Expansion opens up the original game to a whole new world of possibilities. Fans of the original game will find plenty to enjoy in the new expansion including: airless terrain, a second invader deck, new marine cards, and dozens of optional “mods” that will allow them to cater their Doom play experience however they like. Additionally, up to six players can now play at once using the new Deathmatch and Capture the Flag play modes. These fast and frenetic new ways to play the game do not require an invader player and take roughly half the time of the scenario-based game. However, for those who want to continue the campaign from Doom: the Board Game, a new campaign is included, picking up right where the last one left off. The marines will face devastating new enemies, including Vagary the spider queen, while they search for the weapon that can seal the gates forever–the soul cube. Doom: the Board Game Expansion is intended for use with Doom: The Board Game and allows 2 to 6 players using its Deathmatch and Capture the Flag modes, which are playable in one to two hours. You need to have Doom: The Board Game in order to use this expansion.
